I’m trying to compost my emotional attachments to ideas that hold me back. In order for a caterpillar to pupate into a butterfly, it first must melt down into a sort of DNA soup inside of the chrysalis. They say that roughly every 7 years, every cell inside of the human body will be replaced. Our identities, our genders, and our values are not fixed. Every day we are transforming into something else. What must break down in our lives in order for new realities to emerge? If we can dissolve societal norms that no longer serve us, what will we create?
